Still Friends FAQ
Answers to common questions about Still Friends, notifications, PWA installation, Facebook friend list changes, lost friends, and new friends.
Still Friends helps you track Facebook friend list changes over time. This FAQ covers the most common questions about notifications, installation, privacy, lost friends, new friends, and what the app can or cannot show.
If you are new to the product, start with the main guide to who unfriended you on Facebook and then open Still Friends when you are ready to connect a profile.
What Still Friends tracks
Still Friends compares your Facebook friend list over time. When the app has an earlier tracked list and a newer tracked list, it can show people who appeared as new friends and people who disappeared as lost friends.
It does not show profile viewers, private Facebook logs, or a complete history from before tracking started. For profile-viewer questions, read whether Facebook can show who viewed your profile.
Notifications and alerts
When alerts are enabled, Still Friends can notify you when a tracked profile has new changes. Depending on your device and setup, alerts may be available as push notifications, email notifications, or both.
The most reliable setup is to install Still Friends on your device and keep your account signed in. Use the iPhone and iPad install guide or the Android install guide if you want app-style access from your Home Screen.
Privacy and Facebook access
Still Friends needs access to your Facebook friend list so it can compare changes for your own profile. Your results are tied to your Still Friends account and are not published as a public page.
Friend list tracking is different from guessing intent. A lost friend result means a profile was present before and missing later. It does not always prove whether the cause was unfriending, blocking, account deactivation, or a visibility change.
Unfriending, unfollowing, and blocking
Many support questions come from confusion between Facebook actions. Unfollowing changes what appears in your feed, unfriending removes the friend connection, and blocking creates a stronger boundary.
If you are trying to interpret a result, the guide to the difference between unfriending, unfollowing, and blocking is a good next step. If the specific question is whether a profile blocked you, read how to know if someone blocked you on Facebook.
